Talent. A word mainly used as an unofficial unit of measurement, with a sharp focus on age, potential, current skill, and the combination of the three. In the case of RAI, however, it’s simply the word that describes him best.

Though only fifteen years of age, RAI (Ra? Kooijmans) managed to put his particularly infectious signature sound on the map through releases on Armada Deep and The Bearded Man. Getting signed to award-winning record label Armada Music served as the cherry on top in the meantime, all the while DJ Mag NL started to notice the young Dutchman’s potential and added him to their Dutch artists-to-watch list.

Between his apparent knack for creating catchy records and musical preference that swirls around House and Tech House with a load of funk and groove added for some extra flavor, there’s no knowing how incredibly swift RAI’s rise to stardom is going to be. One thing’s for certain though. RAI doesn’t just possess a lot of a talent. He IS talent.
